Task

Joined the FreelanceHunt team, Ukraine's largest freelance platform with a 15-year history. The founders decided to completely revamp the service, which serves a million users every month. The old interface did not meet modern standards, users complained about its complexity, and metrics showed conversion problems.

Solution

I worked closely with the Product Manager on a complete redesign of the platform. I started with in-depth user research — analyzing behavior through Hotjar, working with GA4 and Amplitude to understand problem areas.

Created a Design System from scratch — a complete library of components for web and mobile versions. This was critical for such a large project so that the development team could work on different parts in parallel.

Conducted product metrics research to ensure that every design decision was tied to business goals. Led the project from research to implementation together with developers, ensuring the correct implementation of the design.

Result

Created a complete redesign of a platform with 1M+ users. Built a scalable design system that allows the team to quickly develop the product. Completed the project part and handed over the results to the team for further implementation.
