Holyheld

Task

I was approached by Swiss cryptofintech startup Holyheld. They said, "We have complex BRRR protocol technology and support 1,201 cryptocurrencies, but the interface scares users. People don't understand how to connect their wallets and are afraid of losing money. Many abandon the registration process halfway through."

Solution

I completely rethought the user experience. I hid the complex technology behind simple actions — "connect your wallet" in one click, "get a card" through clear steps. I created a minimalist design where every element is in its place.

Created a unified design system for web and mobile with consistent behavior of all components. Worked on onboarding through a progress bar and microanimations. Added clear illustrations instead of technical terms.

Paid special attention to security — showing that the funds remain with the user, not with us. Visually explained how a non-custodial card works.

Result

Users began to complete registration much more often and go through onboarding faster. Holyheld made it into the top 6 crypto cards in the world and attracted investment from Toyota Ventures. Currently, over $100 million in transactions are processed through the interface.
